Omakar was a direct disciple of Swami Vishnudevananda, one of the greatest
Yoga Masters of our time and author of “Libro De Yoga” (Book of Yoga).
He obtained the title of Yogui Siromani (Teacher) in 1978 in Val Morin, Canada.
As a member of the staff of SIVANANDA he gave classes in different Ashrams
and centres, and collaborated with Swami Sivajiotirmayananda in launching
El Centro de Yoga Sivananda in Barcelona next to Rhada.
From 1980, with the help of Nandy, he organises and directs for 8 years
El Centro de Yoga Sivananda in Valencia in honour of Swami Vishnu,
founding the ASOCIATION DEL YOGA VEDANTA in Spain.

He returns with his master to Canada (1982) to graduate as
YOGUI ACHARIA-MAESTRO DE YOGA
the highest title in the teaching of Yoga.

He studies medicine (Universidad Valencia) and psychology (UNED), organizing the
ASOCIACIÓN ESPAÑOLA DE INVESTIGACIÓN DE LA COLUMNA VERTEBRAL
(Spanish Association of Investigation of the Vertebral Column)
under the guidance of the Departamento de Anatomía de la Facultad de
Medicina de Valencia, the chairmanship of Profesor Robles Marin and the principle
exponents of the Traumatology School of France.

In 1993 (year of his masters Samadhi) he is initiated in the order of the Sanyasines
by Sw. Siddhesvarananda. From then he is knows as Swami Omkarananda
His deep knowledge of yoga applied to health has put him in a position of reference
for many healers. He is a pioneer in the application of psychophysical techniques
of yoga in fibromialgia, depression, vertebral pathologies, psoriasis, allergies, asthma etc.

He founds, through loyalty,The Yoga Centre in Rome.There are many pupils,
including The Vatican, tat for 5 years attend his classes and even graduate as teachers.
The religious press point out his brilliant ecumenical work. He tirelessly gives
conferences and runs courses and retreats. He participates in radio and
 television programmes in Spain and Italy.
There are many advanced teachers of yoga that have grown under his direct tutelage.

In 2004 he founds the ASOCIACIÓN DE ESTUDIOS VEDICOS
and inaugurates the Centro de Yoga para la Paz in Valencia that he personally directs.
