FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS
The Festival Of Lights (Deepawali/Diwali) is a 3 day Hindu festival, which falls in Oct/Nov every year. Deepawali means row or garland of lights, and the festival commemorates the blessed day wen the triumphant Lord Rama returned to Ayodhya after 14 in the wilderness with his wife, Sita, and younger brother Lakshman. The festival means Light of Happiness in Everyone’s House. Everyone forgets and forgives the wrongdoing of others. There is an air of freedom, festivity and friendliness, and the festival brings about unity, and instills charity in the hearts of people. “Oh children of God I unite, and love all. Lighten your hearts with prosperity”
